Senior Month!

We all know that pets age much more quickly than we do, but did you know that most of our furry companions are considered “seniors” by age 7? For large breed dogs that age comes even more quickly, around 6 years of age. Thankfully veterinary medicine is advancing right alongside human medicine. These advances allow us to spend even more time with our 4-legged family members. Along with increased lifespans comes the need for increased healthcare, including bi-annual physical exams, lab work, and other diagnostic measures. This allows us to catch potential problems and treat them earlier than ever before, before they begin to impact your pet’s quality of life.
