It’s Dental Month!

Those of you who have been coming to OHVH for a while know (or should know!) that every February the veterinary community celebrates Pet Oral Health Month. Just like with us humans, your furry friend’s oral health plays a huge part in their health overall. Keeping your pet’s mouth healthy in turn helps to keep other organs (like the heart) functioning well. Regular check ups with a veterinarian, along with brushing at home, help keep Fluffy in tip top shape. That’s right…we said it….brushing at home.  Dun dun dun… If the thought of brushing your pet’s teeth is enough to cause nightmares don’t worry!
